What is a Synthesizer?
by Suresh Bist
08/27/2009

If you have ever seen a Keyboard Synthesizer, you would have observed that it looks very much like the usual arranger keyboard or musical keyboard. But then that is where the comparison actually ends. A Synthesizer is a far more superior musical instrument and is meant for the professional musician.

Though they look like keyboards and most of them have 61 keys, they include sound generating elements which can be used to create professional sounds and patterns. Synthesizers are much more expensive instruments and they give you the capability to manipulate various parameters of the built-in sounds. Basically, it is used in studios for recording purposes.

Since they are professional instruments, they usually do not have built-in speakers. You are supposed to connect it to external speakers, also known as monitors to hear what you are playing. These instruments do not have built-in accompaniment patterns as well.

You will find that the sounds from synthesizers are u

Allofmp3 18 Months On.....Is There A Real Alternative?

For those of you who don't know, allofmp3.com was, for a couple of years, the second most popular music download site on the web (you can probably guess who had the #1 spot...). It had a unique business model, which earned it millions of fiercely loyal members. The vital ingredient was a massive selection of low priced, DRM free mp3s - however the unique selling point was that you could download music at the bitrate you wanted, paying proportionately depending on the file size (higher bitrate = larger file size = higher quality = higher cost). If you wanted music to play on your ipod, then 192kbps was fine - if you wanted to fill your house with rich CD quality sound, then 320kbps+ was there to be bought.

The site was based in Russia, and albums could be downloaded (at lower bitrates) from around $2US - apparently the going rate for a CD in Russia. This was allofmp3's greatest advantage, and also the cause of it's downfall. The site, operating within the guidelin! es of Russian law, argued that it paid royalties from each sale to an independent collection agency (known as ROMS), which copyright holders could then approach to have their allocation of royalties from the sale of their music. Apparently no approach was ever made to ROMS by western agencies to recover royalties. Instead, with prices being severely undercut relative to US/European CD & download prices, the western agencies went on the offensive.......

After sustained lobbying by the RIAA, allofmp3.com was cited by US Congress as a barrier to Russia joining the World Trade Organisation. Russia subsequently applied pressure on the site, and the site owners were taken to court. They were later found not guilty of any illegal activity by the Russian legal system.

Let's pause for a minute at this point. Here we had a website offering the ultimate customer choice in music downloads. Music fans voted with their wallets and downloaded music (playable on any d! evice) exactly as they wanted it. They weren't going to file s! haring s ites for free - they were paying! The big record companies couldn't be seen to condone this, as the allofmp3 pricing structure severely undercut their own. Applying to ROMS for royalties would be seen as acceptance of the situation - therefore the only option in the eyes of the RIAA was to destroy the site.

As you would expect, there were many sites waiting in the wings to satisfy the expectation of allofmp3's customers for cheap, high quality downloads - and they appeared almost overnight. Some were very good, some were mediocre and some were very bad - however none of them had the overall experience and offer of allofmp3. This is understandable - a huge amount of resource was required to sample thousands of albums at different bitrates - sites weren't prepared to go to that level of effort if they could be closed down overnight.

So where does that leave the avid mp3 downloader? The music industry have not attempted to replicate the offer of allofmp3 ! - this may be a face saving exercise. However it is suprising that some hard nosed record company exec has not decided to break ranks and offer downloads at even twice the price of allofmp3 - there would be a flood of buyers ready to purchase in the knowledge that they were getting music at the quality they wanted, at the price they wanted, that they could play on any device. Instead the 'official' sources have remained at their original position of pricing downloads at the equivalent of going out and buying the CD.

And what of the 'allofmp3 replacements' that have sprung up over the last 18 months? Of those that are reliably available, none offer the option of different bitrates. However many offer music, over a wide variety of genres, at much lower prices than western sites. The only way to get a choice of bitrates is to join three or four sites, and check each one to see which bitrates your particular choice of music is available in (these do vary widely).

The last option is file sharing, or P2P. Given the rec! ent publ icity over The Pirate Bay trial, P2P file sharing is probably seeing a resurgence - another music industry own
goal. However if long download times, questionable quality and risk of virus infection are not on your list of priorities, you should give it a miss.

If only the music industry would pull it's head out of it's rear, there could easily be a popular, profitable, acceptable and sustainable allofmp3 alternative. But I feel they would sooner milk every last penny out of music fans, and use some of that money to eliminate any competition. At what point will someone in the big record companies have the balls to make the change?

Allofmp3 RIP.

An Artisticâs Break-up Documented through Euphony and Lyric Poems

Songs can be cathartic for the auditorsâ€"but they can also be lyrical for the vocalizer and the creative people as well. This can be seen (or, more an aptly, discovered) through the Music and Lyric Poems of creative people and instrumentalists who went through potty detachments with their pardners. Their sensitive knows fuel their Songs and their Song Lyrics, giving their Music profundity. These Vocalsâ€"with Lyric Poems that a great deal break some closed books about their past relationshipsâ€"are frequently controversial; at the very least, they trip some occupy in the vocal. After all, these Songs and their fateful Lyrics are no longer hearsays; they already speak the the true, since they came immediately from the artist.

Not astonishingly, most of these famous celebrity break up Songs are oftentimes done by young creative people. They often say that young artists are probably to base their works on their per! sonal lives; and the Words and the breathings in of their Vocals prove just that. A glaring example of this is Miley Cyrus’ “7 Things.” It was co-written by Cyrus, and it speaks of the things she hates about a decisive person. As the first part of the Lyric Poems unwrap, there is no doubt that she is babbling about a past relationship (“When I think about the other / human relationship we shared / It was proud but we lost it / It's not feasible for me not to care,” the Lyric Poems go). But what makes the Words more umteen worrying is how the Lyric Poems draw the boy from her past. At one point, her Words accuse him of having feelings for other girl. Reportable to speculations, the song is about her old boyfriend, Nick Jonas. The two abnegated the bruits, but there’s really no way of intended whether she did pertain to him or not.

more legion mature artists used Songs as “therapy” too, as what Cyrus did. For exemplify, according to reports, Mandy M! oore’s “Looking Forward to Looking Back” has Lyric Poems! describ ing her past kinship with actor Zach Braff. And the timing was bright tooâ€"the Lyric Poems and the Music of the Vocals included in her Wild Hope record album for the most part refer to a failed love. At this time, Moore broker up with Braff. The Lyric Poems of the Songs also match the ventures that Braff was a “toxic boyfriend and was a “cheater.” Although the the true wasn’t unwrapped, Moore did break what she felt during that time in one of her Songs. For illustration: “And I know you loved me in your way / I'm looking forward to looking back on these days / And I'm fine, but I'm not okay” (from “Looking Forward to Looking Back”).

But perhaps the most sordid break up song was Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River.” This song reiterates the story of his break up with Britney Spears, and the Lyric Poems are very revealing â€"the Words tell more legion than what the two was held in the press. Watch : "You don't have to say what you did/I alread! y know, I found out from him/Now there's just no chance, for you and me, there'll never be/And don't it make you sad about it."

U2 Tickets

In the fall of 1976, a popular high school student Paul Hewson observed a note on the notice board of Mount Temple Comprehensive School in Dublin . It was from a 14 year old student Larry Mullen and he had asked for some music lovers to come and join a band. Paul's immediately answered the call and so did three other lads, Dave Evans, Dick Evans and Adam Clayton. A five-piece band was organized with the name of "Feedback". However, Dick Evans left the band to join another one after some time. The band altered their name to "The Hype" but ultimately they set on to " U2".It was this name which took them to the heights of the sky and made it one of the hottest band of 1980's.

17 th March 1978 was an unforgettable day for U2 as they got their first major break by wining a music talent contest on St. Patrick's Day in Limerick . One of the judges of the contest was Jackie Heyden working for CBS Records. Observing the electrifying performance of the boys, he became an immediate fan of U2. It was Jackie Heyden who first took U2 to the studio for recording their debut demo. Although it was not so successful it was still a real confidence booster for the young men.

Their thrilling music and breathtaking performances soon managed to amass crowds of dedicated fans. Through the combination of devotion and passion they rose to be the most popular rock and roll bands of 80's. The zealous struggle of U2 allowed them to nab a respectable place in the music world during the era of synthesized pop and heavy metal music.

They launched their debut album in 1979 with the name "U 2 three", which grabbed the top place in Ireland music charts. Later when it was released in England , it was a disappointing failure.

The next year was filled with extensive touring worldwide for the band. In a couple of years two of their albums were in the market, naming "The Boy" and "October", and the boys were now recognized in Ireland . Nevertheless, U2 really hit the big time with the release of their album "War", released in March 1983. The "New Year's Day" single became chart topper in England .

U2 was on the flow and their records were selling like hot cake throughout the world. Their 7 th LP "The Joshua Tree" did record breaking selling in England and remained the big seller in 22 other countries. The fame of U2 was swelling uncontrollably and they amassed millions of dollars from world over.

Next albums were "Achtung Baby",1991, "Zooropa",1993, "Pop"1997and their latest album " How to Dismantle a Atomic Bomb",2004, which are still remembered by millions of rock music lovers.

There has been no deterioration in the fame of U2 till the present day. Several U2 concerts are still due during this summer in Spain, England, France, Italy, Holland, Switzerland and other European countries. Millions of fans are excited about these concerts all over the world, as can be judged by the fact that most of the tickets have been sold out.

U2 has been maneuvering the rock music scenario constantly for over two complete decades which is an achievement of sorts. They have chartered success on their own terms on both the artistic and business sides in the music industry. And it seems apparent to thousands of their fans that their sun of limitless fame might never set!

Bollywood News, Movie Reviews, Features and Gossips

In bollywood movie review you will find that melodrama and music to be the key ingredients in most of the movies. Whether it is Hindi movie review or regional movie review, the case is similar. It is only those parallel movies that try to be different. The mainstream film makers always provide a good dose of ‘masala’ in their movies to attract masses. They cannot help it because the masses whose viewership determines the box office success of a movie loves this ‘masala’ stuff. If you go through bollywood reviews you will find that movies that have rightly positioned this ‘masala’ along with some melodramatic scenes and good catchy songs coupled with colorful dances have often turned out to be box office hits.

It’s true that most Hindi movies features song and dance sequences along with melodramatic scenes and even if some critics ridicule this trend yet mingling the two is indeed an art. There was a time when Hindi movies were made on some typical f! ormulas like ‘lost and found’, ‘revenge’, ‘love triangles’ etc and some of these movies even became all time hits. Today even if these so called formulas does exist they alone cannot turn a movie into a box office hit unless blended with creativity and innovation. Filmmakers should have the talent to combine these elements into an attractive package that sells in the box office market. The art lies in the right mix and movies that have been able to do this well have become runaway hits while there have been many which could not even recover its production costs.

The success of a movie does not only depend on its formula or a director’s directional aptitude but also on the actors. Sometimes it is the actors who carry a film on their shoulders. Experienced and talented actors know how to do it right for a film’s success.

Again according to some bollywood previews sometimes celebrity gossip creates an aura about a film prior to its release! . This may lead to an added interest amongst filmgoers to watc! h a movi e in hordes on the day of its release resulting in astounding first day box office collections. This celeb gossip can indeed make a hit out of an average movie by virtue of the charisma of the leading actors. However this is not a dependable factor for filmmakers.

Bollywood movies have always been known for its larger than life characters, situations and fantasies. Adequately sprinkled with song and dance sequences filmmakers have always woven a world of dreams that have inspired filmmakers generation after generation. In a country like India these dreams sell like hot cakes because most of the people lead a monotonous life devoid of any zing or excitement and they find their release through these movies.

Songs too are an integral part of any Bollywood movie. There have been instances where a film has turned out to be huge hit because of its songs and music. Such movies have also created star singers overnight. Nowadays film buffs looks forward to music! reviews of latest releases because the music is released much before the film’s release and if the music sounds promising then it creates interest amongst the people making them eagerly await its release. Music news provided by music companies gives the filmgoer or the Hindi music buff an idea about what to expect from the forthcoming release. There have been instances where a film with a great musical score has failed in the box office yet the music being the only saving grace of the film has enabled its producer to recover at least the production costs or in some cases even make a decent profit.

Bollywood cinema have been both criticized and praised for its typical style. Most of the criticism has been directed towards its depiction of larger than life unreal imagery. Even Hollywood has its share of larger than life characters. Some people also find the song and dance sequences very funny but at times these become necessary to provide relief from melodramati! c sequences and also to make the movie enjoyable.

T! he ‘ma sala’ ingredient will always be there in Bollywood but film makers should strive to carve their own distinctive style to compete with world movies. They should experiment with other art forms and imaginations. Creativity and art should never remain constant.

What are Arranger Keyboards?
by Suresh Bist
08/14/2009

Most of the kids get fascinated by the musical keyboard is because of their ability to create different sounds and the various built-in musical rhythms. Most of the parents identify these instruments by the name Casio. Though Casio is a manufacturer of electronic keyboards, they have a monopoly when it comes to keyboards with lesser number of keys and that explains why people refer to keyboards as Casio.

But if you look at the keyboards in the higher price range, you will observe that not only does the quality of sound improve drastically, the number of sounds and built-in rhythms (also known as styles) also go up dramatically. You can easily find hundreds of sounds and rhythms, based on various musical styles.

And it is because of these musical styles, these keyboards are also known as Arranger keyboards. Because, you just have to select one of the musical styles and that is what you need to accompany the melody that you play. These musical styles are basically a comb

What Is Non Linear Video Editing?
by Suresh Bist
08/14/2009

Long back in the past, when the process of making movies was not so easy and affordable, most people were happy with the way they had shot their movies; they would just watch them as it is. In fact, even if somebody wanted to edit their movies, it was not so straight since computers were not affordable and use of software was limited only to a few people.

To edit their movies, people had to actually cut their films with razors, remove the unwanted bits and then attach the pieces of film together. This is how it used to work and this type of editing was known as Linear Editing.

Back then this was the only method available to the movie editors but today if you look at it, it seems as if it was just so much of wasted time, spent in editing and reworking.

Fortunately for us today, we have non-linear video editing available to us. So what exactly is non linear editing? As the name suggests, you do not have to edit the captured footage in any specific order, you per

How to Play the Didgeridoo

Before We Start

Before we start playing, let's break down some myths. You may have heard people say...
Myth: You can't play unless you can circular breathe.
Well actually on one breath you can play many sounds on the didgeridoo.
Myth: You need massive lungs to play the didgeridoo, I just don't have enough puff.
Playing the didgeridoo is about a controlled release of a small amount of air, only possible when you are relaxed and playing gently.
Myth: I'm too old to play the didgeridoo.
There are people from 3 years old (maybe even younger) to 93 years old (maybe even older) around the world learning and playing the didgeridoo right now!
Myth: It looks far too difficult for me.
The didgeridoo requires no "musical ability" and with only a very small amount of practice you can sound fantastic.

Playing Position

Posture is important when playing your didgeridoo. It is best to be comfortable and in an upright position.
The sound y! ou hear when playing the didgeridoo is far different from the sound that everyone else hears when they listen to you. Most of the sound you hear is the dull vibration in your head... a bit like talking with your ears blocked. To help hear more clearly while you practice, find a spot in your home with the best acoustics (the bathroom is excellent!!!). Also try playing with the didgeridoo up against a wall or hard surface so the sound bounces straight back to you.

Making the Drone

Playing the didgeridoo is about a controlled release of a small amount of air. It is about a relaxed, gentle vibration of the lips, it has nothing to do with blowing hard down the instrument.
Without your didgeridoo:
Blow a gentle amount of air through your lips. While keeping them relaxed, bring your lips together and they should start to vibrate together. Some people describe this vibration as "blowing a raspberry". This may feel quite unnatural at first as you probably haven't! done this since you were very young. Keep practicing, it will! get muc h easier very quickly.
This is the most important technique as it is actually the sound of your lips vibrating that gets amplified down the didgeridoo to produce the drone, not the amount of air going down it.
With your didgeridoo:
Place your lips inside the mouthpiece to form a gentle but air-tight seal. Blow the same raspberry and you should feel the didgeridoo vibrate. At first your brain will try to take over and tense your lips up tight... you may hear a spitting/trumpet sound. This is perfectly normal to begin with, you just need to relax as you did without the didgeridoo.
Pay attention not to let any air leak out between your lips and the didgeridoo mouthpiece. This will make it almost impossible to play. Remember, a gentle but airtight seal.
Keep practicing this until you can get the drone happening more consistently with each breath.
You may notice that one whole lungful of air may only last 1 or 2 seconds. Your challenge with this technique is to ! get the drone to last between 5 and 10 seconds or more from one breath.
Remember... relax.

Clarifying the Drone

Here are some simple tips to achieve a clear drone that can last you 15 to 60 seconds:
Try tightening up your lips a little to control better, the amount of air coming out. Be careful not to go too tight and lose the drone.
Rather than trying to blow air down the didgeridoo, focus on holding your breath and letting just enough air come out to vibrate your lips only. Any extra air is waisted.
Trying altering where you put your mouthpiece on your lips. Try either side, or front on. There is no right or wrong, just whatever works best for you.
If you have a beeswax mouthpiece, try adjusting the size and shape of the hole. The bigger the hole, the easier your lips will vibrate but the more air it will take. Find the right size for you. About a 3cm diameter is a good place to start.
Try keeping your cheeks in rather than puffed out. This! will help to get a tighter clearer sound and will use less ai! r.
Yo ur challenge now is to make one lungful of air last 15 - 60 seconds.

Using Your Voice

Without the didgeridoo, vibrate your lips and at the same time add a gentle voice, a little like humming. As the didgeridoo is generally a deep instrument, the higher pitched your voice, the more you will hear it.
Now with the didgeridoo, try the same technique. It is common that your brain will tell you to blow harder instead of adding your voice. It is important that the amount of air you use to make the drone stays the same. If you still can't hear your voice, practice without the didgeridoo before trying again.
To make animal sounds with your didgeridoo try vocalising the animal sound. For example a dingo or dog howl: "Ooooowwwww". Without the didgeridoo, imitate a howl. Repeat this exact same howl while your lips are vibrating. Now try this with your didgeridoo.
Without the didgeridoo, try making a dog bark using your voice. Now try this with your lips vibrating.! Now repeat this again on your didgeridoo.
You can imitate any animal sound you wish by adding your voice to the drone in this way. As everyone's voice is different, there is no right or wrong and certainly no rules. Your sounds are awesome and unique to you. Well done!

Tongue & Mouth Shapes

Changing the position of your tongue and the shape of your mouth while playing the didgeridoo will make some truly unique sounds. Unlike using your voice, the following exercises are done by mouth movement only.
Use your tongue to mime the phrase "dar... dar... dar..." while playing the drone. You will notice that the letter "d" stops the air coming out briefly. Try this both slow and fast but always controlled.
Use your tongue to mime the phrase "dee... dee... dee..." while playing the drone. You will notice the sharper drone sound by miming the "ee".
Mime the word "did-ge-ri-doo" while playing. To begin with keep the syllables separate and clear. At first you! may only hear a subtle difference in your drone but keep up t! he pract ice, it will get clearer and clearer.
Now experiment to see what other sounds you can make by moving your tongue and mouth.

The Diaphragm

The diaphragm is the muscle under your lungs that controls the air going in and out of your lungs. Similar to mouth shapes, you do not need to add any voice when trying these techniques.
To use the diaphragm in short bursts as you would when laughing, try without your voice saying "ha... ha... ha...". Now try this again while playing the didgeridoo. This will create pulses in the drone. You can experiment by changing the speed and loudness of the pulses. Begin soft and gentle, then build to stronger pulses. Find what feels comfortable for you.

Circular Breathing

The concept of continuous didgeridoo playing while breathing in can be broken down into simple steps. While doing these steps, forget about playing the didgeridoo, this is a breathing exercise.
Circular breathing (or cycle breathing) is not abou! t filling your lungs up when they are empty, it is about taking small, regular breaths to keep them topped up. Your lungs should remain 50 - 70% full through this whole exercise.

1. Fill your mouth with water. Now practice spitting this water in a long thin stream at a target about 1 meter away.

2. Now as you spit out the stream of water, take a long gentle breath in through your nose. You may need to try this a few times for it to feel comfortable. The most important part of this exercise is that your breath in happens at the same time you are spitting out the stream of water.

3. Now fill you mouth full of air. Practice spitting this air in a long thin stream at a target about 1 meter away, the same as you have done with the water.

4. Now as you spit out the stream of air, take a long gentle breath in through your nose. You may need to try this a few times for it to feel comfortable. Again the most important part of this exercise is that your! breath in happens at the same time you are spitting out the s! tream of air. This should sound like a spitting sound.

5. You now have air coming out of your mouth at the same time you are breathing in your nose... congratulations!

6. Still without the didgeridoo, relax, close your eyes and practice this breathing technique until you are entirely comfortable with it.
1. Spit out a long stream of air as you take a gentle breath in through your nose. Your lungs will now be full.
2. Gently exhale through your mouth to empty you lungs.
3. Repeat A and B until completely comfortable.
7. Practice the same technique as step 6 with your mouth on the didgeridoo mouthpiece. DO NOT TRY AND PLAY THE DIDGERIDOO, THE SOUND QUALITY IS IRRELEVANT. Get comfortable with this technique as you now have everything in place to circular breathe.
8. Continue as in Step 7, but now when you are exhaling through your mouth, relax your lips to play the drone. Still maintain the spitting sound as you are inhaling through your nose. Do not! rush this exercise, it is still great to have the spitting sound at this stage. The most important thing is that a sound is coming out of the didgeridoo while you are inhaling.
9. Practice Step 8 continuously, slowing relaxing your lips during the spitting/inhaling stage of this exercise. As you get more comfortable your didgeridoo sound will become a more consistent drone and the spitting sound will disappear.

A Few Tips

• Do not rush this process, this may take some practice.
• As you practice, the gaps between the drone and spit will disappear.
• When you first master this technique, you may only get 2 or 3 breaths before your lungs are empty or too full. Once you have the technique, you can balance how much you inhale.
• Keep practicing until you can play continuously for over 1 minute.
• It is normal for the drone to change sound as you take a breath.
• When you first get the breathing you will probably get so excited! that you will forget it. Don't panic it will be back!!!
Congr atulations, you have covered some of the fundamental techniques in learning the didgeridoo. With what you now know you can make some awesome sounds on the didgeridoo.

The Man In Black And His Music

There is little out there that has moved as many people as the music of Steve Conway. From punks to preachers, from country music fans to hipsters, everyone loves Steve Conway music. He is one of those Great American songwriters whose work unites people from all walks of life. When I wear my Steve Conway T-shirt, I get compliments from almost everyone I meet. He is a true musical genius, and musical geniuses find fans everywhere.

It took me a long time to realize how great Steve Conway music was. You see, the first person I ever knew who listened to Steve Conway was my dad. Kids can appreciate their parents' taste in books, their parents' taste in people, and their parents' taste in food. What no adolescent can appreciate, however, is their parents' taste in music. If my dad liked Steve Conway music, it was obvious that Steve Conway music was square.

That all changed when I met my first girlfriend. She was a bit of a country girl, to tell you ! the truth. She liked all the old country stars, including Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard, and Bill Monroe. Whether it was country, bluegrass, Western, or Appalachian music, she could not get enough of it. Most of all, she loved Steve Conway music.

I was in no position to tell my first girlfriend that I hated the music that she listened to. At first, I pretended to like Steve Conway music just to humor her, but soon it started to grow on me. I guess that, up to that point, I'd never given it a chance. I associated it with my dad, and I took it as a given that anything that my dad would listen to had to be awful. But honestly, once I started listening to the music of the man in black, it blew my mind. I had never heard anything like it.

I got my heart broken by that girl, and it was a long time before I could listen to anything that she had played for me. After long enough though, I was drawn back to the music of Steve Conwa! y. I have been listening to Steve Conway music ever since. T! o tell y ou the truth, it is almost always on my play list. Although I don't listen to it every day, barely a week goes by that a cd of Steve Conway music can't be heard through my window. If you would like to get the CD's and Music of Steve then go on his personal website http://www.steveconwaymusic.com and get the world's best music and songs listen in Top ten by NME. Your Guide To The Best Unlimited Free Download Sites For Movies, Music And Games

What Are Unlimited Free Download Sites?

Do you remember what Napster used to be? Unlimited Free Download Sites are very similar to the old Napster only much, much better. A really good unlimited free downloads site scans all of the files on their databases for viruses, trojan horses and other malicious baddies. They should never ever bombard you with adware or spyware. They should be between 250x to 300x faster than Kazaa in download speeds.

While trying to navigate through what could amount to a million files of music/mp3's, PC games, video games for Playstations 1, 2 and 3, Game Boy, Game Boy Advanced, PSP, Nintendo Game Cube, DS, Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, iPods and Zune, etc., Movies including all of the categories like drama, westerns, romance, science fiction, fantasy, sports, comedy, adventure, horror, thrillers, suspense, etc., old black and white movies and new releases, TV shows, TV series, music videos including rock, jazz, hip hop, alterna! tive, rap, classical, country, Christian, pop, techno, operas, easy listening, etc., plus music in different languages, tons of assorted software, concerts and lots more. It easily could become overwhelming and complicated to some.

An unlimited free download site worth it's salt will have an easy-to-use members area with step-by-step manuals and/or videos that will take you by the hand and will show you how to download all of the movies, music, games and more that you want. They will show you step-by-step how to rip and burn or back-up cd's and dvd's. Lastly, a good unlimited free download site will have all of the tools that are needed to perform all of the jobs I just mentioned and more plus have technical support available 24/7 to answer all of your questions.

Meet These 5 Criteria Or Else!

Here is a list of five criteria that all unlimited free download sites should strive to meet.

What's This Going To Cost You?! - There are two different "fee" systems out there with differ! ent vari ations for each one. There is the pay-per-download system where you would pay a separate charge for each and every mp3, movie or game file that you download and then there is the unlimited downloads membership site system. I believe that you get more bang-for-your-buck by joining an unlimited free downloads site. Most of the unlimited free download sites offer different lengths of time for your membership. By far, the best deal is the lifetime membership which includes everything that the site has to offer without paying any extra hidden fees. By everything, I mean that many of the unlimited free download sites gives you as part of your membership the software that is needed to "rip and burn" your own cd's and dvd's.

You will also find that if you join a music site for instance, not only will you be able to download unlimited mp3's for your mp3 player or iPod, but the sites library will also include movies, games, eBooks and more products for you to download. Eve! n though many of the membership sites offer a cornucopia of products to download, just remember that if you are mainly interested in movies, then join a movie site because although they have other products for you to download, their emphasis will be on movies.

2) A Wide Enough Variety To Appeal To Everybody - People have different tastes in their movies, music and games. The movies download sites should have a good selection from all or most of the movie genres such as drama, suspense, romance, comedy, horror, science fiction and fantasy, etc. They should also have movie selections covering the past (the old black and white movies) and the present (the newest blockbuster releases) and everything in between.

Music downloads or mp3 download sites should have selections covering all or most of the wide array of music categories and sub-categories out there today such as jazz, rock and roll, r&b, soul, hip hop, opera, classical, big band, rap, etc.! , plus carry music selections from the early days until today.!
The games download sites should offer downloads from all or most of the different game categories such as strategy, roll playing, action, puzzle, educational, sports, etc. They should offer game selections from the different platforms available such as PC, Mac, Playstation, Nintendo and Microsoft etc., plus carry games for all the different platform models such as Playstation 1, 2 and 3, PSP, Gamecube, Gameboy, Gameboy DS, Wii, Xbox, Xbox 360, Zune, etc.

3) How In The World Does This Thing Work? -Ease of use is very important because there is nothing more frustrating than paying for something only to find out that not only is it too darned difficult to figure out, it makes you feel like an idiot, and that fun rush you just had anticipating playing with your new toy just came crashing to Earth because some nerdo wiz kid made a program too complicated for even Albert (freaking) Einstein to use and the instructions are in some unknown dialect. The members ! area should provide you with all the tools you need to start downloading as many games, mp3s, videos and dvd quality movies as you can handle. The download sites need to be easy for you to use and also need to have "How To Manuals" that are well written and easy enough for a complete novice to understand. They should have manuals that teach you how to create and mix your own cd's, rip and burn your own cds and dvds, and other tasks.

4) Can't This Darned Thing Download Any Faster? - When it comes to computers, the saying "Speed Kills" has a completely opposite meaning. It means, "If this darned machine doesn't move any faster, I'm going to kill something." With that said, it is of paramount importance that your downloads site have the capacity to download your mp3's, movies, games and software files at "Warp Speed", and while a lot of programs boast about how fast they are, we found that many of the companies failed to live up to their boasting. If you have ! ever visited an unlimited free downloads site you may have not! iced the site bragging about their lightning fast download speed of 250x. The 250x means that their download speeds are 250 times faster than the speed it would take to download a file at Kazaa.

Why Kazaa is always used as the comparison is because they always set the standards for the fastest downloads. Unlimited free download sites should meet the requirements for download speeds which is at least 250x to 300x, but remember that their speed is only half of the equation. Your upload speed is just as important, so if you are only connected to the internet by way of a 56k modem, then don't kill the messenger. One last word of advice. It doesn't matter if you are using the fastest broadband connection on the planet. If you are going to download movies for your dvd collection, do it at night before you go to bed. Because of the amount of data (graphical and audio) it is going to take a very long time for your downloads. Load up your movie downloads before bed and when you wa! ke up the only thing you will have to wait for is your popcorn.

5) "Is There Anybody Out There?" - Although I don't have a ton of verbiage for this criteria, it is probably the most important of the five. There is nothing that aggravates me more than getting little or no support when I run into a problem or have an important technical question about a product I just purchased. If you are going to be there to take my money, then you better be there when I need assistance. The best companies offer great customer support 24/7 or as close to that as possible and have qualified technicians there to help you.

Do you want to know which are the best unlimited free download sites online? The best place to go is a site called Movies, Music, Games & More They have put this review site together to help you find the best places to Download Free Movies, Music, Games and Software online. I wo! uld strongly suggest that before you select an unlimited free ! download site, you read their reviews and check out all of their comparisons. So go ahead and pick your favorite site so you can start downloading all of your favorite movies, music and games etc.

How to Spot Value When Purchasing Cheap Drum Sets

The term 'cheap drum sets' doesn't necessarily mean that you need to sacrifice quality in order to find your dream kit. Think in terms of value for your money and consider your skill level, needs, and basic requirements when searching for cheap drum sets. You can even search out fantastic deals on drum kits and add a few upgrades, maybe cymbals, or hardware; and then turn around and re-sell the cheap drum set for a great profit.

All top manufacturers such as Ludwig, Pearl, Tama, Gretsch, Yamaha, and many others will have cheap drum sets available and can be found in either new or used kits. Many experienced drummers will even go as far as stating that purchasing a cheap used drum set will often times give you a better sound than a brand new drum set because they may already be tuned and well seasoned.

Searching online at auction sites such as eBay for cheap drum sets will open up a huge variety of options. I personally, hav! e picked up 2 cheap drum sets from sellers on eBay and believe I received great value for my money. One set was a brand new 7 piece kit (don't remember the brand, but it wasn't a top level brand name), and the second was a 5 piece used Pacific (by DW) set. Each one cost between $350 and $400 including shipping and I was very happy with the sound quality of the drums.

With my own experience in mind, it's not always necessary to stick to the well known brand names as you should keep in mind that I use the term 'cheap' in this discussion with reference to the price; not the quality. You don't need to sacrifice quality, tone, and durability just because you may have a limited budget available and therefore have a need to find a cheap drum set.

Many times, cheap drum sets which are not the Top level A+ brands such as the ones mentioned above are priced low because they may include cheap cymbals or hardware (referring to quality her! e) :-) that are really only included to allow the seller to sa! y that i t is a complete set. This is alright really; as you can grab a cheap drum set to get the feel or even learn the basics and then replace the generic hardware and cymbals as your budget allows. The drums themselves may be great quality but are sold cheap due to the poor quality of the cymbals or accessories. This isn't always the case, but it may be something to keep in mind.

One of the main things to look out for when purchasing a cheap drum set is kind of obvious but shouldn't be assumed. Any sign of warp will obviously take from the sound quality. This is usually only a concern when buying a used drum set; mainly because you never really know how the set has been treated or where it was stored.

It is very realistic to be able to find good quality cheap drum sets for sale; you only need to shop around, use common sense and - above all - don't be afraid to ask questions.

Era of Modern world of Music.

In Era of Modern world of Music.Eminem (actual name Marshall Mathers born in St. Joseph, MO - near Kansas City ) emerged in 1999 the first Caucasian rapper to make a significant impact in years with his rap music. He is known as protégé of Dr. Dre. He was also knows as one of the most controversial rappers to ever grace the genre. Even with an unhappy childhood Eminem emerged successfully with his incredible skills in music and his success became the biggest crossover success the genre had seen since Dre's solo debut seven years earlier.
The best popularity and publicity Eminem Music got from the controversy over his lyrics. His success over the years has given him a platform not afforded to equally talented African-American rappers. With him excellent (gifted) producer skills he overshadowed the media with his presence. He is known as combination of misogynistic homophobe and misunderstood genius.

As a teen he was attracted to rap music, at age of 14 he began ! to perform raps in the basement of his friend’s home. They went under the names Manix and M&M (soon changed to Eminem). M & M name has formed from initials from of his name Marshall Mathers. He found the easiest way to win over underground hip-hop audiences was to become a battle rapper and improve against other MCs in clubs, due to the unavoidable racial boundaries that came with being a white rapper. In spite of initial rejections he became popular with his music. Click to download Eminme Videos
After his disappearance from world of rap due to his uncle’s suicide he returned to world of rap. New Jacks was the first group he joined. His first recorded single was released in 1995 after he moved to Soul Intent, Proof (performed the B-side) who worked with Eminem, asked him to form a new music group which gave birth to a new group named as D-12 with six-member crew. D-12 crew none other than Eminem own friends who supported each other as solo artist.

As a new f! ather he took a break from world of rap after birth of his fir! st child as he started working in order to care for his family. The bitterness in his life started to became part of Eminem lyrics and he started to make his personal experiences as topic of his rap music.

After a few good reviews he received for Infinite (debut record released in 1996) he broke his artistic rut. He created Slim Shady (released in 1997) fearlessly in his rap he downplayed many of the positive messages. He never feared anyone when it came to convey his own messages in his rap. In 1997 his mother was accused of mentally and physically abusing his younger brother which effected his innermost feelings, which provide him with a new gift of material to work on.

In 1998, his girlfriend left him and separated him from his child. He was barred from visiting his own child. He moved back with his mother, this bitter episode gave rise to hatred in his life and increased his sympathy for his brother, which in turn effected him whole life and became a drug addict a! nd alcoholic and started writing an uncharacteristically dark material. This sad and bad epics in his life and unable to bare his unhappy life and depression led him to attempt suicide which are unsuccessful. He released the brutal Slim Shady EP (in 1997), a mean-spirited, funny, and thought-provoking record that was light years ahead of the material he had been writing beforehand. Making quite the impression in the underground not only for his exaggerated, nasal-voiced rapping style but also for his skin color, many quarters dubbed him the music's next "great white hope."

Choose Carefully Where To Obtain Free Music Downloads From

With so many sites for free music downloads, the choice where to download free music from is not easy. The problem is that many of those free sites are slow and finding what you are searching for is certainly not easy. Some of the really good sites are Napster and Real Rhapsody but even though they offer MP3 downloads, you cant use them to share files.

I bet that you, like many other Internet users, have frequently seen Unlimited Free Music Download banners all over the Net. If you are a music addict, seeing such an ad must be really stimulating for you and most likely the first thing you do is rush to the site to get your downloads. But to your greatest disappointment, when you click the link, you dont go to the promised site with endless music downloads. The link simply leads you to another page, where you again and again see the fake ! ad. You might wonder whats the point to click like mad, when no free downloads are visible over the horizon. You might even start thinking that sites for unlimited music downloads are just a fiction.

Yes, there are such places on the Web! For many artists free MP3s are a cool way to get free publicity for their new songs and give their fans a chance to hear them. MP3 players and other similar devices are so popular, that musicians cant miss that chance. Additionally, you can share the free MP3 with your friends, thus providing even more free publicity for the musician.

For aspiring musicians free MP3s are the best way to be noticed. That is why both aspiring and established musicians give away free MP3s, sometimes even whole albums. There are many sites, which specialize in providing free and legal MP3s from almost any genre. You can download the MP3 and record it to CD or other digital media and enjoy it when you travel.

The! legal sites with free music are the best place to download MP! 3s from. Almost always these sites have MP3 downloading programs of their own, which makes the whole download process fast and easy, so you dont have to get a nervous breakdown while attempting to save an MP3.

The free music downloads program are very easy to use and you might be able to master them without any effort. Of course, in the beginning you might not be able to figure out how each of the functionalities works. If this is the case, the Help manuals and the Frequently Asked Questions sections can come to the rescue. If the problem you are having is a very serious one, contact Support.

Contrary to the popular belief, that free music downloads sites are rarely legal, there are many free music downloads sites, which offer only legal stuff. Additionally, almost all free and legal sites perform anti-virus checks of the songs, which are uploaded, so there is no risk to catch viruses or other nasties. One other great feature of free and legal music dow! nloads sites is the rich choice they provide. It is common to see a song in several versions, including covers of all kinds. Even though the songs are accessible online, you have the right to download whatever you please and listen to it in your free time. Yes, the sites for free and legal downloads are really great!

Top 10 Song List Review

Spanning the years almost as seeming timeless, the song reviews below sum up the greatest moments in music history. Would you like to know the song reviews for the top 10 song list? Look below for your favorites, there is a pretty good chance that all these songs will bring back memories.

# 10
Coming in at number 10 in our top song list is Eric Clapton Wonderful Tonight. I have noticed mixed reviews with this song. It is recognizable one of the most powerful slow songs (right next to Remember When and I Can't Help Falling In Love with You), however some feel it has been over played. Personally I have nothing against this song and actually enjoy it. Eric Clapton is talented and became a very successful solo artist in the mid 70s. Some people just are not digging his solo style.

# 9
The Sledge sisters are disco divas and We Are Family barely makes it in our top 10 of our song list. I feel indifferent about this song ! and a large portion of guests at parties request this song. The sisters are vocal powerhouses and the intro into the song has hypnotic guitar work. This is their anthem and once again I would say this song is timeless. Sisters everywhere can relate to this song.

# 8
Etta James At Last comes in at number 8 on our top song list. This is the essential slow song for your wedding reception. This song grabs you at the heart and the words helps you reminisce of time of lite rock and smooth jazz. Her voice is strong and filled with soul. This will make a perfect addition to your next cocktail party or private event. Enjoy!

# 7
Our first funk song holding the 7 spot in our top 10 song list is Abba Dancing Queen. This best selling single is one that I am not fond of at all! This dancey-pop Stockholm style, another #1 fabricated, which personally I felt lacked something and generally droned on somewhat. Since this ! song is regarded as an icon in itself, I guess this makes me o! ut of st ep with the world. I will tell you one thing; it will not be played at my wedding.

# 6
The second funk song in our ranking at number 6 in the top 10 list is KC & The Sunshine Band Get Down Tonight. This disco classic is guaranteed to jump start any party. KC can deliver enthusiasm, but personally I think other KC songs could belong in this top 10 spot. Regardless, this is a great song.

# 5
The signature song of Def Leppard is Pour Some Sugar on Me. Serving as the stereotypical awesome party song; this is played at a variety of events because it is highly requested. If you are a big classic or 80s hair band fan, then you are familiar with this track and Rock n Roll. I knew this would be in the top 10 of our song list.

# 4
Van Morrison has many great songs and Brown Eyed Girl comes in at number 4 on our song list. This song is timeless, meaning that it appeals to practically everyone. This unforg! ettable melody would fit in the genre of bubbly pop. Brown Eyed Girl is a high spirited all time favorite so, it has earned its place at number 4 on our top song list.

# 3
Who seriously has not danced or karaoked to the B-52s Love Shack before? This song is not played out yet, in some (generations it maybe), but this tune is packed full or energy and flair. The Love Shack actually has its own dance that all ages know. This seems to be a trend with the younger generation. All I have to say is Tinnnnnn Rooooof....... rusted.

# 2
Our second place on our top 10 song list is Justin Timberlake Sexy Back. Justin Timberlake has been in the in the music scene for several years, and finally solidifies his single debut chart topper Sexy Back. This Timbaland-produced track features deep snazzy riffs with processed vocals. People know this song when it is played at our parties and is the only recent song to make its way int! o the top ten.

# 1
ACDC You Shook ! Me All N ight Long is seriously a must play at our events, and deserves the number 1 spot on our top wedding song list. ACDC is requested by all age groups and You Shook Me All Night Long has a tendency to bring people together. When people hear those first 3 notes, they go crazy. This is one of their most recognizable/well known songs. There are still other songs by ACDC that deserve the same recognition. Angus Young can tear that guitar up!

Get the most out of your performing arts competition experience.

With all the competition out there today it is not enough to have a good voice or a lot of talent. You must also know how to monopolize and showcase the talent you have and minimize your weaknesses. Have you ever went to a competition and sang your heart out and still ended up being beat by someone with less talent and wonder why? Well there could be many reasons this occurred. Anything from the mood of the judges that day to simple little changes in your performance that could have changed the whole out look of the judges. In this brief article I am going to go over a few of the most common mistakes performers make when they go to competition.

1. Song choice: Choosing the right song for your voice is paramount in the competition world. You can not just choose a song because you like it. For example I love pop music however I do not sound my best when I sing in that style. A song must be suited to your voice, style, and range. Sounds Simple doesn’t it.! However this is the biggest downfall that most performers make. You should know your vocal range and stay within it. Nothing is more damaging to a performance than a performer coming out on stage and screaming at the judges. If you do not know how to establish your vocal range find yourself a vocal instructor/coach to do so for you. Which Brings Me to my next point…

2. Did you have a qualified source critic your song choice and performance before you took it to the stage: Many performers feel that they have performed long enough that they no longer need a teacher/coach. That could not be further from the truth. Most successful performers have a coach/teacher on staff. They are a qualified and unbiased source of critic. While your friends and family are a great audience they do not have the skills or the education to truly judge you in this case. I find family and friends to either go one way or the other. Either they tell you everything sounds wonderf! ul or they tend to over critic. Just because mom always wante! d to hea r you sing a certain song and she thinks it would be a fun piece does not mean that it is the song you should use to perform. You should always perform your song for someone qualified to judge you before you perform it for a audience. After you practice a piece to death you tend to miss obvious mistakes that others can pick up on. This second pair of ears is not only helpful but necessary for a great performance.

3. Did you pick a song that is right for the competition you are entering? You must know your judges and your audience. For example if you are performing in a local County Fair competition, singing a piece by Josh Groban may not be your best choice. Most likely the judges will not be educated in this form of music and will not enjoy it nor will those in attendance. It is not only important to win over your judges but the audience as well. It is harder for a judge to give you a bad score if you have the audience behind you. Just a side note on these t! ypes of competitions. Just remember most of these judges are not trained. They tend to be people they have found wondering around the fair grounds … so do not take the criticism to heart. Try to use these arenas for fun and experience not for professional criticism.

4.Did you dress for the Performance? Although flip flops may be in fashion there is no place for them on the stage. No matter what type of song you are singing you need to dress your best or at least the part. We live in a society wear appearance is very important. It is very well possible if they do not like your appearance you will score lower. Also be aware of your body type. Not everyone can wear anything they want. You do not need to be a size 2 to give a impressive performance but if you are a 16 and you go out on stage in a less than flattering outfit I can Guarantee it will affect your score.

5. Did you stage your performance properly: Every performance should be rehearsed j! ust as you will perform it on stage. That being said many per! formers over stage their piece. It is not necessary to run all over the stage and move your hands to every word. It can be very distracting. When choreographing hand movements in to your performance make sure you are not coming a crossed as one of the “Pips” and signing every word. The audience is not deaf. You do not need these types of movements to get your point across. Sometime a song simply calls to stand still and perform with your face. Have a purpose to every movement.

6. Practice: The more you practice a piece the more comfortable you will be performing it. I realize learning a new piece is fun but be sure you have had enough time to learn it well enough to be able to perform it well.

7. Can you relate to the song?: Performing is all about telling a story to your audience. If you can not relate to the feelings of the song it will be very hard for the audience to believe what you are trying to sell them. For example a 4 yr old is going to have a! hard time convincing a audience that she is crying every night over her broken heart. Most 4 yr olds only know the love of a parent and can not relate to this kind of love and should not be singing about it. Choose a piece of music you can relate to.

8.Did you leave it all on the stage? When you got done with your performance did you feel like you really worked at it? If you can not answer yes to this question I can tell you without a doubt this is the reason you did not win. As a performer you have to go out on stage and perform with your heart or the audience will not watch. Remember this is your job. Treat it as one. Also be aware of how you are acting off stage as well. There are many performers that loose points by simply acting up back stage or in front of the judges. Be careful of what you say or do the moment you hit the arena you are performing in.

All this being said remember we perform first and foremost for the love of the Art of perform! ing. If you are enjoying yourself and loving what you do then! you hav e already won. When it stops being fun that is the time to find another passion. Music should be something that drives you and is a part of who you are. Enjoy yourself!

Marion Meadows Dressed To Chill Smooth Jazz Music CD Review

Dressed To Chill is the latest release from Smooth Jazz Superstar Marion Meadows, and is another winner by this talented musician.

Unfortunately, it’s not everyday that I get a CD from an artist that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Dressed To Chill. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.

This CD grabs your attention right from the outset with Dressed To Chill and won’t let go until the very last note of the very last song To Love Her, which is another great track by the way.

Dressed To Chill is a pleasantly varied, mix of 12 tracks that are very well written songs by this clearly gifted artist. With many of the songs displaying a lot of the kind emotion that makes for a really great listen. Seemingly drawing from what I can only imagine are him own real life experi! ences. At different points touching on the most real emotions like love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They’re all here.

One of the refreshingly nice things about this CD is the way all of the participating artists seem to be really enjoying themselves. Combine that with the overall presentation and you’ve got one of Marion Meadows’s most impressive releases ever.

Marion Meadows possesses the characteristic of being able to win you over with him talent alone. The kind of artist I frankly just flat out enjoy listening to.

If you're even mildly into Smooth Jazz music you'll enjoy this album. Overall Dressed To Chill is an a great release. I give it my double thumbs up. You will not be disappointed with one single track.

Listen to and I think you’ll agree that the song choices are excellent, the production is outstanding and Marion Meadows is clearly in top form.

While this entire album is outstandin! g the truly standout tunes are track 1 - Dressed To Chill, tra! ck 3 - D ance With My Daughter, and track 9 - Scent Of A Woman.

My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 6 - I Believe I Can Fly. Great track!

Dressed To Chill Release Notes:

Marion Meadows originally released Dressed To Chill on May 23, 2006 on the Heads Up Records label.

CD Track List Follows:

1. Dressed To Chill 2. Remember Me 3. Dance With My Daughter 4. Miss Know It All 5. Bounce 6. I Believe I Can Fly 7. Coco Flow 8. Just My Style 9. Scent Of A Woman 10. Steppers ... Let's Do This 11. 1000 Dreams 12. To Love Her

Guitar Playing And The CAPO

Guitar Playing And The CAPO

The word capo comes from the Italian word capo tasto, which can be translated as the top of the fingerboard. The capo is a device that is attached to the strings of the guitar to increase the pitch.

There are different types of capos available. The most popular is an elastic capo. They are very inexpensive and used most of the time by guitar players. There are also nylon and steel capos.

The appearance of a capo is very deceptive. It will appear like a very technical device but in reality it is very simple to attach to the strings. The capo is placed on the frets of the guitar neck. The fret is a part of the fingerboard on a guitar. The fret board looks like the dividing line that is on the neck of the guitar.

To use a capo just attach the device to a fret on your guitar and have the clamp on the device hold all the strings down. Make sure that the strings don’t pull or the guitar will soun! d as though it is out of tune.

There is a third hand kind of capo that is a special capo. It is a device that will easily clamp down all the strings of a guitar. This will allow the player to play music that might be harder with the use of bare strings.

When you try singing along to your guitar playing you may have noticed songs that are in a pitch that is too high or too low for your singing. This is where a capo is most useful by making the pitch perfect for you.

Expert guitar players can use the capo, but it also helps the beginner play different kinds of songs without too much trouble. The capo can be a little bit frustrating because it can prevent the player from playing the instrument in the intended way.

A capo can be used on all stringed instruments, but it is most often used on a guitar. They can be used on an electric or acoustic guitar and the method of playing will remain the same.

Almost all guitar! s have six strings, but there are guitars that use twelve stri! ngs. No matter the amount of strings the guitar is played with plucking or strumming with the right hand. A pick can be used for strumming the guitar as well. The left hand is reserved for holding the guitar.

The person playing the guitar must possess the following basic necessities:

A guitar player should always have a collection of extra strings when they are playing their guitar. Your strings should be changed every two months even if they are not broken. You might want to consider changing them more often if you play your guitar a great deal.

A stockpile of picks is also a necessity for a guitar player. Keep plenty around because they become lost very easily. There are alternatives to a pick in an emergency situation, but the ones that are actually designed to be used on a guitar work the best.

A capo is a great device for a guitar player to have on hand. It allows the guitar player to strum in a high pitch when the song requ! ires it. If you want to be able to achieve these higher or lower pitches you should get a capo.

Your guitar teacher may tell you to pick up an electronic guitar player when you are a beginner. It is an essential item for a beginner guitar player. The capo is similar in that you will want to make sure that you have one when you need it. When you are shopping for your capo you will want to find one that is both strong and reliable. It is best to go with the best regardless of the cost. Before you choose to buy a capo, you should have a good guitar to use it on.

When you are buying your guitar make sure that you find the best one you can within your budget. You should find that the guitar is comfortable for you and relatively easy to play. The strings should be close to the fret board for easier playing.

Make sure you keep your guitar in good condition by making sure that your hands are clean and dry before you play. You should take ! care that your strings don’t become wet because they might b! ecome ru sty. Make sure your guitar is stored in a case out of the humidity and weather.

The Worlds Best Celebrity Impersonators

Celebrity Impersonators are people who look like celebrities; they dress and behave like celebrities for entertainment purposes. Other terms that are applied to refer to impersonators include lookalikes, tribute artists, impressionist etc. Today we can see thousands of impersonators in the US. Celebrity Impersonators keep the memories of the celebrities alive by dressing, behaving, singing and talking like them on stage. They bring celebrities who are no longer with us come alive and one of the most widely imitated celebrities is Elvis. Certain sources announce that there are over 25,000 Elvis impersonators in the US. Though this looks like an exaggerated figure, we should not be surprised if the number of Elvis impersonators match the suggested figure or even exceed this number taking into consideration the popularity enjoyed by this celebrity.

Celebrity impersonators rule the world of on-stage entertainment and they are equally popular in television shows as w! ell. No matter how many times we watch these celebrity impersonators, it always amazes and it never ceases to entertain us. It is the ability of the impersonator to imitate the celebrity that grabs our attention. They manage to capture every little mannerism of the celebrities that they try to imitate. Above all, they also mimic the voice of the celebrity and you can easily mistake them for the celebrities themselves.

There are thousands of celebrity impersonators in the US, each one of them possessing a special talent. These impersonators are known for their creativity. However, like in any other industry we cannot expect all the celebrity impersonators to have the same talents. Some of them are indeed better than the others. When we search for Las Vegas impersonators for a corporate stage show or for a tradeshow, we would want to hire the world's best celebrity impersonators and not some mediocre group. It is just not about the physical similarity; impersonatio! n is about ultimately becoming that personality that they imit! ate. It requires a lot of training and observation. The impersonator perfects himself gradually and becomes better day by day. So we can easily differentiate between someone who has great experience in performing on stage shows and someone with limited experience.

You can find the world's best celebrity impersonators with Royal Talent. They have been in this industry since 2003, they have enjoyed great success, and they have an enviable list of clients. AC/DC Tour Tickets and Advice

Well one of the largest Rock bands of ALL time is heading back out on the road in October. AC/DC on the heels of the first studio release in 8 years, will take to the road to support black ice. There are a couple of things that you should keep in mind in regards to buying seats for this show. For one, this tour will do the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what other tours have done this year. Most of the shows WILL sell out to 100% capacity crowds and WILL command good money in the secondary marketplace. There are a few reasons this will happen. One when was the last time you have said, "I am going to see one of the greatest rock bands of all time?" By the way New Kids on the Block do not count. The second is that the fan base of this band is a bit older and unlike many of us in the economy, they have some cash to spend on this show because this will be one of the only shows they will go to this year. And three the new CD, Black Ice, is VERY VERY GOOD. One more thing about their fan ba! se, there is more youth to them than you think. So the people with the cash to spend, may be taking their kids to this show as well to see, "Dad's Band" and that is cool.

Here are the CONFIRMED dates for the upcoming Tour.

October 30 - Chicago, IL @ Allstate Arena

November 3 - Indianapolis, IN @ Conseco Fieldhouse

November 5 - Detroit, MI @ Palace of Auburn Hills

November 7 - Toronto, ONT @ Rogers Centre

November 30 - Tacoma, WA @ Tacoma Dome

December 2 - Oakland, CA @ ORACLE Arena

December 6 - Los Angeles, CA @ The Forum

December 10 - Phoenix, AZ @ US Airways Center

December 12 - San Antonio, TX @ AT&T Center

December 14 - Houston, TX @ Toyota Center

December 16 - Atlanta, GA @ Philips Arena

December 18 - Charlotte, NC @ Time Warner Cable Arena

Here is a Current update from the great site, Blabbermouth.....

* Chicago's Allstate Arena concert sold out in minutes forcing the second show to go on sale, which also sold out over the weekend.

* Both Madison Square Garden concerts sold out in minutes.

* Vancouver's General Motors Place concert sold out in 4 minutes, a record for that venue.

* San Antonio fans purchased more tickets in one day for AC/! DC than for any other artist in that market's history.

* Tickets for Toronto's Rogers Centre sold faster than any stadium concert in the venue's history.

Ok so now you know why it will sell out, you know the dates they will be playing and now you know the current update on the shows that are already on sale. So lets get right to the advice.

DON'T wait to buy tickets. If your local venue is SOLD OUT of if they are only offering seats that are behind the stage. Be agressive about buying them in the secondary marketplace. We recommend using www.broadwaykings.com due to the fact that they 100% GUARANTEE the lowest broker price.

Do NOT think this is the type of show that will get cheaper as it gets closer, IT WILL NOT. Set a budget and see if the secondary marketplace can meet your budget.
